This week in YR started off with Paramedic Ollie and his ambulance visiting our school. We were so excited to look around the ambulance and see all the equipment. We loved hearing the siren and watching the lights, even though we put our hands over our ears! We realised that Ollie works very hard to help lots of people and does an amazing job. We are continuing to find out about people who help us like Librarians, Bin collectors and Lollypop people in our small world. Welcome Back!

We hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and have a Happy New Year! Even though we have only been back to school for 2 days we have been so busy! Our new topic ‘People who help us’ started with introducing our different role plays in each classroom. The children loved pretending to be a Doctor, Firefighter or Police Officer, dressing up and re creating these roles. On Monday we have a Paramedic called Ollie coming in to visit us.
