Welcome back and we hope that you all had a lovely restful Easter break!

This half term our topic is all about minibeasts and we are beginning the topic with the fabulous story of ‘Superworm’. The children got stuck straight in with their amazing writing on Tuesday and continued their fabulous work throughout the week.

The children also created some great art work including their own versions of Superworm and even made magnetic worm pictures. Well done Year R!

In phonics we learnt two new special friends which were ‘oy’ (a toy to enjoy) and ‘ay’ (may I play) as well as continuing practising all of the sounds that we have already learnt.

If you have not already sent your child’s PE kit back in, please could you do so as soon as possible.
