It was lovely to meet the parents and children who will be starting Tavistock in September. The topic was ‘Teddy Bears’ and they made teddy puppets and ordered different sized bears. There was marble painting, bear sorting, puzzles, egg and spoon activity, garage and cars, dolls house and dolls to dress and books to share. At the end of the session Mrs Foster, who is Reception Year leader and teacher of Rabbit Class, helped by three children from her class, read ‘I’m going on a bear hunt’ and sang Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear.
