Our story this week is ‘Walter the Wonder Snail’. This has tied in perfectly with our visit from Normal the giant snail, who is a pet snail belonging to one of the teachers here at Tavistock. 

In drawing club, the children have designed their own snail and written some fantastic descriptions.  We are so proud of how hard the children are working on their writing. Well done Year R!

In maths we have been practising taking a number away from a larger group in a variety of different ways.

In phonics we this week we have continued practising all of the sounds that we have already learnt.

On Monday our caterpillars arrived and this was extremely exciting.  Please have a look on Tapestry to see some photos of our special visitors.
